(CCP)

Become a Certified Cosmetology Professional (CCP)! With your CCP designation you'll be listed in the Professional Directory and recognized as a BeautyCouncil member in good standing as well as a fully qualified professional who exhibits the necessary skills and knowledge to meet the industry’s standards.

To achieve your CCP status, you are asked to comply with the following:

You’re a BeautyCouncil member in good standing (a current member).
You’ve committed to abide by BeautyCouncil’s professional code of ethics.
You’ve completed the recommended practical and theoretical training in your trade.
You have successfully passed BeautyCouncil’s examination in hair, esthetics and/or nails.
CCPs include salon and spa owners, home-based businesses, hairdressers, estheticians, nails technicians, retirees, chair and space renters, mobile service, teachers, instructors, manufacturers, distributors and sales representatives.

(RCP)

Become a Registered Cosmetology Professional (RCP)! With your RCP designation you'll be listed in the Professional Directory and recognized as a BeautyCouncil member in good standing.

To achieve your RCP status, you are asked to comply with the following:

You’re a BeautyCouncil member in good standing (a current member).
You’ve promised to abide by BeautyCouncil’s professional code of ethics.
RCPs include students, apprentices, salon and spa owners, home-based businesses, hairdressers, estheticians, nails technicians, retirees, chair and space renters, mobile service providers, teachers, instructors, manufacturers, distributors and sales representatives.
An RCP has not been third party validated for skills and competency in a specific trade, therefore trade credentials cannot be recognized or listed. To achieve Certified (CCP) status, please review certification overview.
